Pork Belly Stewed In Soy Sauce Recipe

One of our family's favorite foods is Babi Kecap (pork with soy sauce), it is easy to cook and super delicious. The main taste is the sweet taste of soy sauce, pepper, and garlic. We eat the Babi Kecap with warm rice ... hmm ... yummy! Here is the recipe...

Ingredients:
500 grams of pork belly, cut 0.5 cm thick
5 grains of garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon of pepper powder
2 nutmeg, sliced
100 ml of sweet soy sauce
A pinch of salt
2 teaspoons of salty soy sauce
1 tablespoon of cooking oil
3 tablespoons of water
Methods:

Prepare the skillet, turn on the stove, add cooking oil to the skillet, add garlic, nutmeg, pepper powder, sweet soy sauce, salty soy sauce, and salt, stir well. Add water, stir well.

Reduce the heat to 90 C, add pork, cook until one side is half cooked, then turn the meat over to cook the other side. Do this over and over until the pork is completely cooked. When it’s done, lift from the pan and serve it with warm rice.

Tips:
1. If you like the taste of the spices, cooking on low heat for a long time will make the spices more pervasive on pork.
